- Loot Boxes: Crates with cosmetics can be bought in the store using an in-game currency.
- It's pretty much useless against a player wearing medium or heavy armor.
- Little Useless Gun: Oftentimes players just pick up a pistol to fill the slot in case they run out of rifle ammo.

- Grenade Launcher: A weapon in Classic Mode which has a round of six grenades which explode on impact, unlike thrown grenades.
- Good Old Fisticuffs: Punching is often used at the beginning of a Battle Royale match before a player can find a weapon.
- However, there is no fall damage, and injuries don't impede a character's movement. Realistic elements of the game include its weapons and physics.
- Fackler Scale of FPS Realism: Semi-Classic.
- Escort Mission: One of the missions is to escort a tank across the playing area farther than the opponents escort theirs.
- Easter Egg: Temple has a hidden tomb in one of the rock spires.
- Duct Tape for Everything: Duct Tape can be used to repair armor.
- Players can run slightly faster without a gun equipped.
- Jumping and running increases the player's bloom.
- Critical Existence Failure: Damage and low health don't do anything to impede a character's movements.
